- Notice of Intent Title: Transportation Planning Analysis Technology Transfer and Program Support for the Travel Model Improvement Program (TMIP). Purpose: The Federal Highway Administration's Office of Planning and Environment intend to contract for these services through full and open competition. Objective: The objective of this effort is to conduct outreach to the TMIP user community to provide direction and guidance to the program; and to deliver timely research, training and technical assistance to those users. The support to be provided includes marketing, training, technical assistance and dissemination of information. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541611. The solicitation and all related documents will be posted under RFP Number DTFH61-06-R-00027. NO WRITTEN, TELEPHONIC, FACSIMILE, OR E-MAIL REQUESTS will be honored, however, interested parties can register at www.eps.gov to receive procurement announcements by e-mail. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any solicitation amendments. The ESTIMATED release date of the RFP is May 29, 2006. The resulting contract will be a cost reimbursement contract with a period of performance of one year with three possible one-year extensions.
