Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number F2Y0XP6102A100 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25. This solicitation is unrestricted; the associated NAICS code is 532120 and small business size standard is $21,500,000. The requirement is for 26 vehicles, as follows: Four Mini-Vans - 5 or 7 passenger - including unlimited miles, Two Crew-Cab Pick-ups - 1/2 or 3/4 ton ? including unlimited miles, Twenty Mid-Size 4-door Sedans, minimum 5 passenger capacity ? including unlimited miles. Vehicles are to be delivered full of fuel and will be returned full. Vehicle?s will only be driven on or directly around Alpena Air National Guard Base (ANG) in Michigan. Vehicles may be delivered 4 May, 2006, but NLT 3:00 P.M. on 5 May 2006 at Bldg 125 at Alpena ANG, MI and will be returned to Bldg 125 by 3:00 P.M. on Friday, 12 May 2006 to be picked up by vendor. Someone will be available if the vendor needs to pick up the vehicle on 13, 14, or 15 May. The point of contact at Alpena ANG for coordination of delivery and pick-up will be identified sub sequential award. Vehicles are to be no older than model year 2004, and must be undamaged, clean inside and outside, and be in good mechanical condition. Each vehicle will have a current state registration and be provided with a rental car informational package addressing actions to be taken in case of damage or break-down. All vehicles are to have automatic transmissions and are to be gasoline powered. The payment method will be by the Government Purchase Card. An offer must be placed on all vehicles in order to be considered for award.
