- Description
- The purpose of this modification is to respond to a question regarding the original posting of this RFI. Question: We are unclear as to the context of this statement (listed below) in relation to the preceding and subsequent requirements in the RFI. Could you please clarify / explain this requirement in more detail? The radar must have a flexible capability to notch on transmit to a depth of 30 dB for user-specified notch-widths larger than 25 KHz . Response: The radar must have a flexible capability to notch on transmit based on a list of user-specified notches. This list will specify the center frequency and width of each required notch. For each notch with a width of more than 25 kHz, the radar must be abl e to generate a notch on transmit with a depth of at least 30 dB relative. The 30 dB notch depth applies to systems with effective peak radiated power (ERP) of 9500 W or less. For a system with an ERP of more than 9500 W, the notch depth must be deeper by the ratio of the system ERP to 9500 W.
