Description
This is a sources sought synopsis seeking potential 8(a), HUBZone and Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned certified firms that have an interest and the capability to submit as a prime contractor an offer for the demolition, debris removal and disposal of an existing structure on a site located in southwest downtown, Austin, TX. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to complete the project on time and on schedule. This is not a Solicitation or Request for Proposal. The demolition work includes but is not limited to the planning and execution of the demolition and removal of a partially constructed six (6) level reinforced concrete building frame and floor slabs, temporary scaffold stairs, perimeter structure safety systems, partially installed utility distribution, subsurface utility distribution. At completion of the work, the existing perimeter chain link site fence, gates and screening shall be restored to current location and condition. The work will include options to recycle materials for use on and offsite and survey documentation of the remaining site condition and utility cut off locations. The project site is located on the block between West 4th Street on the south, West 5th Street on the north, Nueces Street on the west and San Antonio Street on the east. The proposed procurement will be issued as a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated construction range of magnitude is estimated at between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238910. The small business size standard is $13 million. Interested sources shall provide the following information regarding their qualifications, capabilities and experience. 1. Ability to obtain adequate bonding 2. Recent experience (five years) on the same or similar projects at the dollar threshold stated above 3. References (to include current names and telephone numbers) 4. Capabilities to manage a project of same or similar complexity to include staffing and the experience of management and personnel assigned to the project and include any major subcontractors. 5. Certification of 8(a), HUBZone and/or SDVO status Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
