- Amendment for to SOW Section 5.10, Page 37: During the event suppliers will see their own bid and their current rank. The United States Postal Service hereby submits a Request For Proposal (RFP) for Terminal Handling services to support the surface transportation of mail for the Salt Lake City Surface Transfer Center (STC). The U.S. Postal Service anticipates a single award from this RFP. The contract awarded under this solicitation will be for a term beginning on May 13, 2006 and ending close of business, September 30, 2008. The Postal Service holds a single one-year unilateral option for a term beginning October 1, 2008 and ending close of business on September 30, 2009. All proposals must meet all of the requirements as described in this solicitation. Signed initial pricing proposals must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on March 17, 2006, by email, mail, or in person to the contracting officer addressed above. On March 24, 2006, qualified offerors will be invited to participate in a reverse auction hosted by Global eProcure. The reverse will be conducted on March 29, 2006.
