Description

USDA, Agricultural Research Service, South Atlantic Area has a requirement for the removal, disposal and replacement of approximately 5,975 sq ft of asbestos containing floor tiles in accordance with strict compliance with Environmental Protection Agency, Georgia Environmental Protection Division and Occupational Safety & Health Administration regulations governing these activities. After abatement actions are taken, contractor will install new replacement floor covering consisting of approximately 2882 sq ft of 12?x12? commercial vinyl composition tile (VCT) Azrock by Tarkett or equivalent, approximately 3093 sq ft of 13?x13? ceramic tile, Diago Manufacturing or equivalent and 4? rubber cove base (approximately 1,585 linear ft. Magnitude of job: $25,000 - $100,000 with approximately 38% being removal, abatement, remediation and testing and 62% furnish and install new floor covering. Information on site visit scheduling will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted at www.fbo.gov on or about May 5, 2006. No paper solicitation will be available.
