Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number PR81779 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-08. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750. The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for FPAK ? 1 VHF-KH, Field Port, 140-175, BW10MHZ Kits (Rev 00B) with Accessory Kits. These kits are specialized antenna kits manufactured by STI-CO Industries Inc., 11 Cobham Drive, Orchard Park, NY 14127 designed to meet the USSS needs. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed-price contract. Line Item 0001: Quantity ? 44 Each of the FPAK ? 1 VHF-KH, Field Port, 140-175, BW10MHZ Kits (Rev 00B) with Accessory Kits. Each VHF FPAK kit includes the following: Pelican case with custom foam insert and lid organizer; 1 ? VHF field tunable gain antenna; 2 50? LMR 195 cable with connectors; extension rods for mounting (5); 2 extension rod brackets; 2 ratchet assemblies with 16? strap; 1 silicone foot; and 1 cup assembly. Each accessory package includes the following: Medium wire ties ? 1 bundle; small wire ties ? 1 bundle; 2 AC plugs; 2 ground adapters; 1 roll electrical tape; 1 roll filament tape; 1 maglite flashlight; pen; mast tool (if needed for old style extension rods); 10? extension cord with 3 ground outlets; duct tape 2? x 60 yards; adapter wire; connectors (3); and hose clamps (2). The Contractor shall deliver the complete quantity, FOB Destination, with all freight included in the delivered price, within forty-two (42) days of contract award. Delivery to U. S. Secret Service ? Information Resources Management Division, 950 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. All quotations shall include a unit price for the stated quantity, as well as the total price. Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Paragraph (a) insert: ?The Government intends to award a firm, fixed-price contract to the offeror, whose quotation, conforming to the Solicitation as provided herein, is lowest in price?.; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. The following HSAR Clause is applicable unless otherwise noted: 3052.209-70, Prohibition on Contracts with Corporate Expatriates. The following USSS Clause is applicable unless otherwise noted: Unauthorized Use of the U.S. Secret Service Name. Telephone requests for copies of the provisions and/or clauses will not be accepted. Quotations must contain the following: 1) Unit pricing; 2) Name of company, point of contact, telephone number, and fax number; 3) Proposed delivery schedule; 4) Company business size and status; 5) Company tax identification number; 6) Company DUNS number; and 7) Company purchase order address. Please note: All offerors shall forward their quotations via e-mail to the attention of Michael Velez at michael.velez@usss.dhs.gov. Quotations must be received no later than 3:00 pm, local time, Thursday, April 27, 2006. Please note: An award is anticipated within ten (10) days of receipt of quotations.
