- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ 30503-0002-6 for the provision of a Vocational Training Program Certification/Accreditation at the Federal Correctional Institution, Estill, South Carolina. The contractor must provide program completion, on a non-discriminatory basis with a qualified, full time, Bureau of Prisons Staff member serving as an adjunct instructor, in a computer related Advanced Occupational/Vocational Training Course leading to a program completion certificate and/or degree to enrolled students at FCI/FPC Estill. The certification should be issued from an Accredited Institution of Post Secondary Education. It is estimated the contract will include 18 courses of instruction per year. A course will be defined as a program of instruction in a computer related advanced occupational/vocational training program that will lead to a program completion certificate and/or degree lasting approximately 13 weeks or one quarter. The contract period shall consist of one 12 month base year and 4 twelve month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about May 5, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizzopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated receipt of quotes is June 5, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
