- The Federal Bureau of Investigations intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to the University of Tennessee Forensic Anthropology Center, 250 South Stadium Hall, Knoxville, TN 37996. The Forensic Anthropology Center will create a Photographic Craniofacial Reference database. The objective of this project is to collect photographs of donor cadaver skulls, CT and laser scan data, and anthropological notes, as well as any pictures submitted by the donors? family to be used as a training and reference tool. Based on extensive market research conducted with knowledgeable individuals in Government and the related industry, only one responsible source can provide the requested services. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes to this office by 9:00 AM, EST, Monday, June 5, 2006, via facsimile to the attention of Ms. Lynda M. Theisen, Contracting Officer, at (703) 632-8074. E-mail quotes will also be accepted at lmtheisen@fbiacademy.edu. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System number is 541710, the size standard is 500 employees. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13. All contractors anticipating award, must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database.
