Description
The Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration Academy (FAAA) Training Team (AMA-260) has a requirement for Boeing 747 Pilot/Flight Engineer Initial Qualification Training, Boeing 747 Pilot/Flight Engineer Recurrent Qualification Training, and Supplemental Training. The FAA anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements contract with firm-fixed pricing per line item for the base year and two (2) one-year options. The estimated annual requirement is 3 students per initial and 12 students per recurrent with supplemental training on an "as needed" basis. All interested sources should download the Screening Information Request (SIR)/Request for Offer (RFO) from the Internet. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. Any responses received after that date and time will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. If all requested information is not furnished, the vendor's response may be determined unacceptable; therefore, not considered as one of the qualified companies. Oral or written communications with offerors, during the screening process, will be conducted if the FAA deems communication is necessary. This portion of this notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantage business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantage individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
