Description
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) anticipates awarding a sole source contract to the National Academy of Sciences for the Transportation Research Board to continue to conduct and document a program to assist in the guidance of current and future activities related to the conduct and operation of Long Term Pavement Performance Program (LTPP) data collection, analysis, product development, delivery, and coordination and communication activities. It is anticipated that the committee will consist of approximately 15 members, including senior employees of state transportation agencies and others taken from private, academic and other sectors of the transportation industry. The committee members will include some of the nation?s top scientists, engineers, and other experts. In addition to these regular members, the committee membership will include liaison representatives designated by the Federal Highway Administration and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). The estimated period of performance for the project is a 36 month base period and two 12 month option periods.
