- The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Acquisition Center, is conducting market research to determine if there are adequate small business concerns capable of providing various general use laboratory supplies to VA Medical Centers nationwide including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii. This is not a request for interested parties to be placed on a solicitation mailing list. This announcement is for informational purposes only and must not be construed as a request for proposals (RFP), or an announcement of a solicitation. The objective for this effort is for interested parties to provide directly to Medical Centers the laboratory supplies as required by VA Medical Centers. Vendors must have all items in an aggregate group, but each aggregate group could be available from a different vendor. Interested parties shall provide all of the following information: Name and address of company, telephone number, and business size. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423450 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This procurement action will be issued on an unrestricted full and open competitive basis if it is determined that no capable small businesses exist that can provide the products required to service the VA Medical Centers listed in this announcement. The upcoming solicitation will be posted in FEDBIZOPPS. The upcoming solicitation may be considered as a bundled procurement and the public is invited to submit comments to the Contract Specialist listed below.
