Description
DESCRIPTION Military Hospitals- (Army, Navy, and Air Force) TRICARE Region Europe is considering standardizing and establishing a Regional Incentive Agreement (s) (RIA (s) for Internal Stapler Device and Accessories. This is not a request for bids but an invitation t o participate in a product line review process that will result in a selection of vendor(s) to provide this product line to MTFs within the European Region. Vendors must be able to provide a full line of product and meet regional product volume requiremen ts; provide representatives and product for vendor demonstrations at no charge to the government; and conduct product in-services for medical facility staff as needed. MILITARY HOSPITALS - TRICARE Europe Region, a military integrated delivery network, comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical facilities in Iceland, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Turkey. ELIGIBILITY WILL BE DEPENDENT ON THE FOLLOWING: 1. A list of clinical criteria and instructions will be provided to vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers who are willing to participate. These vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers must be holders of a Distribution And Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), distribute products through the DSCP Prime Vendor (PV) program, and carry a full line of product for the items being considered. A company must be a DAPA Holder to participate in our standardization process. The review process leading to a selection of vendor (s) upon which to standardize will take into consideration, but not be limited to, the following technical aspects that must be addressed via email: Technical Criteria - Internal Staplers 1. Vendor Name and Address 2. Does your company manufacture and/or distribute a full line of internal staplers, hemoclips, and appliers? If so, please list the types of internal staplers, hemoclips, and appliers your company offers. 3. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture or distribute your product? 4. What types of products does your company offer in this line? 5. Are your products on the Federal Supply Schedule? 6. Are your products available through the Prime Vendor, Owens & Minor and or ECAT supply system? 7. What is your DAPA/ECAT Number? 8. Have there been safety alerts issued by any governmental or accreditation agencies regarding the safety of your products 9. Any history of backorders and/or recalls for this product group? Dates and duration? Cause Resolution? 10. Company has the Ability to Service Entire Region? 11. Length of time product has been on the market? 12. Item Nomenclature? 13. Do your products come in a package that can be delivered to a sterile field? 35. Do the Intra-Luminal Staplers show acceptable range of tissue thickness? 36. Does the Cutting Washer provide an audible and tactile feel when stapler is fired? Does your product provide easy access by way of low-profile Anvil Head? 37. With Endoscopic Linear Cutters, are there reloads? Are the items color coded and sizes easily identifiable? What are the size ranges (Vascular to Standard)? Does your company make an articulating linear head? What is the maximum firing per instrument 38. LigaClip Appliers and clips. Do you have a multiple clip applier for endoscopic and open procedures? How many clips per preloaded applier? Does your company make a Ligaclip Applier that can be reloaded? Do you make a single clip applier? Do you mak e absorbable clips? 39. Does your company make long instruments for morbidly obese patients and also those used for pediatric patients? 40. Linear Stapler: Is your Linear Stapler completely disposable is it reloadable? Are the reload sizes easily identifiable? Is it easy to load? 41. Linear Cutter. Does you company make a full range of sizes? Does your Linear Cutter have reloads to accommodate a variety of tissue thicknesses? Is it easy to operate? Does it allow for repositioning of tissue before firing? 42. Does your company make an Articulating Linear Stapler? Are your products easy to position easy to fire and use? 43. Skin stapler: Does your company make a full range of staplers? Articulating Head 44. Do the Skin Staplers easily extract? Do you make a stapler with ergonomic pistol grip? Easy staple placement 45.
