Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission, Salt Lake City, Utah. This requirement is a Small Business Set Aside, and is in accordance with FAR PART 12. This work will consist of application of herbicides to control weeds on the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission owned lands along the Jordan River and the south shore of Great Salt Lake. 1. Application of Roundup at the rate of 2 lbs acid equivalent/ac to uplands. Spot spraying only, as tree and shrub bare root seedlings must be avoided. Accessible by All-Terrain-Vehicle (ATV) or on foot. Contractor to provide all labor, equipment and herbicide. 2. Application of Weedmaster (2, 4-D + Dicamba) at the rate of 2.0 qts product/ac to uplands. Spot spraying only, as tree and shrub bare root seedlings must be avoided. Accessible by ATV or on foot. Contractor to provide all labor, equipment and herbicide. The contract is for a base year and 4 one-year options, and may be extended up to six months past the completion date (in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. The work will be performed under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 561730. Department of the Interior has directed the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source on vendors doing business with the Government.
