Description: The rental of a R-44 Raven helicopter for the US Geological Survey to support a requirement for transporting personnel to remote locations within the Cape Krusenstern National Monument. The Project will start on July 1, 2006 and end on July 8, 2006. The project is estimating 4 hours of flight a day. The aircraft will be equipped with a GPS, a survival kit, tundra pads, FM radio, and a barrel pump with filters. The vendor shall be approved for work under the Aircraft Rental Agreement with Aviation Management - Alaska Regional Office. The pilot shall be endorsed for rough terrain and low level flying activities. The aircraft will be endorsed for low level flying activities.
