- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking information under this Request For Information (RFI) for market research and planning purposes, therefore this synopsis shall not be construed as either a solicitation or a Request for Proposals (RFP). Currently, no solicitation document exists. The IRS does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted or the IRS? use of such information. Acknowledgment of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the IRS' evaluation of the information received. Telephonic inquiries regarding this RFI will not be accepted. Any questions submitted regarding this potential requirement will not receive responses. The IRS is seeking market information about vendors who are capable of providing information technology services to deliver and support a fully functional and integrated Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system. The primary function of this comprehensive system would be to provide a means for the integration, collection, and analysis of data. The system would include an integrated set of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products that rely on a common database platform. The system would be created by integrating the following COTS products: ARCHIBUS/FM, ARCHIBUS Web Central, FMstudio, Adept, AutoCAD and Autodesk DWF Viewer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes that would apply to this RFI would be 541511 with the small business size standard of $21M. All responses must be submitted via e-mail to leona.m.brown@irs.gov in accordance with the following instructions: Responses may not exceed 5 type written pages (MS Word) and should include each vendor?s name, address and contact information. The responses should briefly describe some of the company?s experience and qualifications with regard to the services listed above indicating whether they functioned as a prime or subcontractor. The response should also include any experience, certifications, authorizations, etc. the company may have with regard to the software listed. Your response may reference a website, magazine article, or other published literature but may not include any illustrations, brochures, advertisements, inserts or elaborate graphics. The response should denote the company?s small business size status (i.e., 8(a), Small, Small Disadvantaged, HUBZone, SDVOB, Woman-Owned, etc.). The company should also include any GSA schedule contracts or any other Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC) it may hold under which these services could be acquired.
