- NAICS Code: 421490 The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to award, on a sole source basis, an acquisition purchase to BGI, Inc. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The NAICS for this purchase is 423490. This is a total small business set-aside. The purchase is for: 1) PQAUDIT, PQ200A FRM Ambient Fine Particulate Sampler Audit Version; and 2) DC1 - deltaCal (calibration range 2-20 Lpm), complete in carrying case. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1 in that BGI Inc. is the only known source for this acquisition. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the required products are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a solicitation will not be issued.
