Description

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source contract to West Publishing Corporation for the provision of Print Information - Books, publications, and subscriptions services (Federal securities laws : selected statutes, rules, and forms, compiled by Coffee and Seligman). The aforementioned publications and services are required for official Securities and Exchange Commission's purposes. The period of performance for this award is from date of award through September 30, 2006. West Government Sales is the only known source that possesses the capability required by the SEC. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Intent. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this service. Interested parties are advised that no solicitation document is available for this requirement but may identify interest and capacity by submitting a capabilities statement and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by e-mail @ johnsonja@sec.gov by May 15, 2006, 9 am Eastern Standard Time, Subject: Capabilities/qualifications. Capabilities/ qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposes of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
