Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition procedures to Washington Speakers Bureau, 1663 Prince St., Alexandria VA 22314 to provide Ari Fleisher and Willard Scott as speakers at SSA's National Public Affairs Training Conference to be held in Washington DC on May 2-3, 2006. SSA has determined that it needs the unique services of Mr. Fleisher and Mr. Scott for this conference. This is an announcement of SSA?s intent to issue an order to Washington Speakers Bureau for the services of Mr. Fleisher and Mr. Scott; SSA will not issue a solicitation. SSA will not respond to requests for solicitation copies and will not pay for information received in response to this announcement. Responses must provide sufficient information for SSA to determine that a firm other than Washington Speakers Bureau can provide Mr. Fleisher and Mr. Scott as speakers at SSA's conference as described above. If SSA does not receive an acceptable response to this announcement within 5 days of its publication, it will issue a purchase order to Washington Speakers Bureau for the services of Mr. Fleisher and Mr. Scott. Respondents should refer to SSA Conference Speakers.
