- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard intends to award an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract(s) for the rework of cylinder assemblies and float bags utilized on the HH65 aircraft fleet. The anticipated term of the contract is one base year period and four one-year option periods (if exercised). Drawings and manufacturers specifications are NOT available from the USCG and cannot be furnished with the solicitation. The original equipment manufacturers of the HH65 cylinder assemblies and float bags are Aerazur (France, cage code F6101) and Apical Industries (United States, cage code 07M26). The parts are as follows: P/N 158519-4, Float Assembly, Aft RH; P/N 158950-4, Float Assembly Aft LH; P/N 159128-2, Bag Float F R/LH; P/N 202401-3, Float Assembly Aft L/H; P/N 202402-3, Float Assembly F R/H; P/N 204037-3, Bag Float F L/H; P/N 204038-3, Bag Float F R/H; P/N 204623-2, Cylinder; 158991-2, Cylinder; 204623-1, Cylinder; P/N 604.7601, Bag, Float Aft R/LH; P/N 604.7701, Bag, Float F/LH; Bag, Float F/RH; and P/N 604.1418, Cylinder. Delivery of reworked units to USCG Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 is desired within 60 days after receipt of repairable item and required within 75 days after receipt of repairable items. The Simplified Acquisition Test Program for Commercial Items will be utilized for this acquisition. Award will be made to the offeror proposing the best value to the Government considering technical capability to meet the Government requirement, price, delivery, and past performance. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for the solicitation should be made no later than 22 September 2005.
