Description

The United States General Services Administration, Northern California Area Team, 1301 Clay Street, Oakland, California 94612-5223 intends to issue a sole source task order modification to EDS Corporation, 13600 EDS Drive, Herndon, VA 20171-3225. This task order modification shall be issued under the ordering procedures of FAR 8.404(f), soliciting procedures of 13.106-1(b), and authority of 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. All costs associated with this procurement action shall be under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), currently $100,000.00. The simplified acquisition procedures of the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13 shall apply to this order modification. The applicable NAICS Code is 561990, All Other Support Services. The resulting modification will be issued to support required open market or incidental items specifically, network support costs and conference fees (including registration) during the period of June 2006 through April 2007 of an existing task order. EDS Corporation is the only known qualified source, which can provide these services to the Government in accordance with their current task order for Information Management and Information Technology Services. See Numbered Note 22. This notice is not a request for proposals and a solicitation document for this service does not exist. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the work required by this effort in writing to dave.williams@gsa.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on May 4, 2006. All responses received by May 4, 2006 will be considered in the Government's determination to continue this solicitation and subsequent award on a sole source basis or seek additional competition. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The anticipated date of award is May 5, 2006.
