Description

OBJECTIVE. Provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials and supervision necessary to accomplish intra-island transportation of Government owned furnishings/appliances in support of the Furnishings Management Warehouses. SPECIFIC TASKS. The contractor shall perform transportation of Government furnishings/appliances services between the following categories of moves: A.Between Furnishings Management Warehouses and on-base Military Family Housing (MFH) or off-base private rental quarters; B.From on-base Military Family Housing or off-base private rental quarters to the Furnishings Management Warehouse; C.From off-base private rental quarters to on-base Military Family Housing; D.Between the Camp Kinser Furnishings Management Warehouse and the Chibana Furnishings Management Warehouse; E. Between either the Camp Kinser Furnishings Management Warehouse or the Chibana Furnishings Management Warehouses, and the dormitories on Kadena Air Base; F. Between either the Chibana Furnishings Management Warehouses or the dormitories on Kadena Air Base and the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO); G.Between on-base Military Family Housing units on the same base (house to house); H.Single-piece appliance deliveries/pick-ups to/from the Kadena Air Base dormitories and the Chibana Furnishings Management Warehouses; I.Between the Camp Kinser Furnishings Management Warehouse and the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO);
