- The Defense Contract Management Agency is issuing a request for proposal (RFP), S5105A-06-R-0006 for specific make ?Network Appliance?, FAS 3020C 8TB UPGRADE. Equal items shall not be considered. This RFP is for commercial type products and is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR PART 12 and 13), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (Fac 2001-07). This RFP is for small Business set-aside. Small businesses, small disadvantage business, women owned business are encouraged to participate. Award shall be made in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. Basis of Award: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation based on lowest price technically acceptable. (see 52.212-2 for more details). Price and delivery schedule of products and services shall be considered. Evaluation of past performance does not require the creation or existence of a formal database, but may be on such information as the Contracting Officers Knowledge, previous work experience, customer surveys, etc. The North American Industry Classification for this requirement is 334119. Interested/capable sources must be registered and provide their Central Contract Registration (CCR) and tax identification number along with their proposals. Registration information for CCR is located at the following web-site; http://www.ccr.gov/. Proposal must be submitted to thatsanee.knight@dcma.mil or by fax to 703-428-1360 no later than 4:00 P.M.EST, Monday, 8 May 2006. Proposal must be valid for 60 calendar days after close of solicitation. . All proposals shall provide FOB destination shipping cost to two different DCMA?s locations as specified in the RFP.
