Description

In accordance with FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to HyTest, Ltd, in the amount of $32,100.00 for 1000 milligrams of Anti-Yersinia pestis, clone YPF-19(3YPD). The Lab Response Network (LRN) Time Resolved Fluorescent (TRF) reagents contain highly specific antibodies that have been optimized for the detection of unique bacterial, viral or toxin agents. These antibodies have undergone strenuous testing to ensure maximum sensitivity and specificity to the in the TRF assay. The antibodies have also been validated via testing conducted at other state and federal laboratories to ensure optimum reproducibility of test results. CDC believes that HyTest Ltd is the only vendor that can satisfy the agency requirements. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other source will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
