- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security's Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA) has a requirement to continue development of an initiative entitled the Protected Repository for the Defense of Infrastructure Against Cyber Threats (PREDICT). Major tasks under this effort include: establishment of the distributed repositories of security-relevant network operations data, and the application procedures, protection policies, and review processes necessary to make this data available to the cyber defense research community. HSARPA intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price purchase order with Global Cyber Risk of Washington, DC to continue this effort under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The period of performance will be ten months from date of award. Only Global Cyber Risk has the requisite knowledge and experience to perform all of the tasks contained in this contract without excessive delay. Therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package will be issued. See Numbered Note 22, except all responses to this sole source announcement must be received within 7 days (in lieu of 45 days) from the date of this announcement..
