Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision for project Improve Environmental Systems, Part 2. Certain specified aspects of this project shall require professional mechanical & structural engineering design (Design/Build). Work includes mechanical demolition, installation of AHUs, fancoil units, fans, TAB, copper pipe, fiberglass double wall fuel pipe, fuel leak detections systems, double-check backflow preventers, pneumatic steam control valves, electrical conduit and conductors, concrete footings and walls, metal studs and metal siding. The solicitation will be available on or about May 19, 2006 and may be downloaded from the Business Opportunity Website at www.bos.oamm.va.gov. Offerors are responsible for downloading all documents pertaining to this solicitation. The solicitation will contain instructions on obtaining drawings and the exact date/time of the pre-proposal conference. This procurement is 100% set-aside for certified HUBZone concerns. The cost range for this procurement is between $250,000 - $500,000. The NAICS Code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Work shall be performed within 180 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
