Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for Hotel Accommodations and Hotel services located in the geographic area of Baltimore, Maryland. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefit Administration, Office of Employee Development and Training will be participating in the Curriculum Overview and Team Building (COTB) conference. The hotel must accommodate 50 sleeping rooms per night (based on timeframe), and must provide lodging rates within the stated Government Per Diem. Hotel lodging is needed for 50 sleep room per night from May 21, 2006 - May 26, 2006. The group will check-in on May 21, 2006 and check out May 26, 2006. Rooms must be individual/private sleeping rooms with toilet facilities, smoke free and at government per diem for Baltimore, Maryland. Payments for rooms shall be the sole responsibility of each participant, to include no-show fees. The additional requirement for the hotel are: suites with full dining facilities, less than 6 blocks away from the Veterans Benefits Academy, 31 Hopkins Plaza, G-7, Fallon Federal Building, Baltimore, MD 21202, a banquet facility must be available on 5/25/2006, must provide shuttle service, on site fitness center and waiver of room cancellation policy. The specific instructions contained herein are intended to serve as guideline for the preparation of the quotation. In developing the quotation, the Contractor shall comply with the requirement stated in the description. THE GOVERNEMENT INTENDS TO AWARD WITHOUT DISCUSSIONS. Therefore, each contractor is urged to examine this request for quote in its entirety and to ensure that their quote contains all necessary information, provides all required documentation, and is complete in all aspects. Electronic copies not delivered by the time and date specified may be eliminated from further consideration. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
