- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-08 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2006-03-21. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3679 and the size standard is 500 employees. NAICS is 314419. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (the award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. The 412 TW/ AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential capable of providing for a Video Distribution Amplifier (quantity 1 each). The equipment needs to be equal to the items listed to meet the form, fit, and function of existing systems. REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical Requirements: Number of Channels per card: 1, Inputs/Outputs per card: 1 each input/4 each output per channel, Number of cards per chassis: 15, Dimensions: 3RU, 5 ?? high, 12? deep (max), 0.85? wide Weight, fully populated: 20lbs max (approx), Operating Temperature: 15? - 50? C, Power: 115VAC or 230VAC, 50-40Hz auto sensing, Power Cord: furnished with unit, Power Controls: Power on/off switch, Coaxial connectors will be standard BNC for the 75 ohm inputs and outputs; Functional Requirements: Each module or channel of the VDA will consist of 1 function: 1 single ended 75 Ohm inputs on BNC per card; 4 each separate single ended outputs on BNC per card with high current drive modules will insert at the front of the chassis and held in place with captivated screws. Individual gain for each channel is accessible from the front panel of each module. Holes in the front panel will allow access for a tuning wand to engage screw adjustments for each of the 5 adjustments: channel DC offset; output 1 gain; output 2 gain; output 3 gain, and output 4 gain. Input signal present indicator will consist of a Green LED Input level indicator or over voltage input condition will consist of a Red LED; VDA Module Requirements: Input: one per module; connector BNC female, Amphenol 31-221-RFX or equivalent; min input level DC; max input level 15VP-P; input impedance 75 Ohms; normal input level 1VRMS, Output: 6 each per module; connector BNC female, Amphenol 31-221-RFX or equivalent; max output level 15Vp-p; normal output level 1VRMS; output drive 75Ohms; front panel test point (buffered) Gain/Damping: adjustable: -10dB to +15dB with 1VRMS input Frequency Response: ?1dB, DC ? 20MHz ?3dB, DC ? 30MHz, Harmonic Distortion: >40dB below rated output, Noise: >60dB, Signal Port return loss: >20dB, Channel to Channel Isolation: 60dB@20MHz 80dB@1MHz, DC Offset: +-50% with 1VRMS input, Switches: AC Power, Controls and Adjustments: Gain/Offset; Manuals: include with each chassis.
