Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20060412. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3823 and the size standard is 500 employees. NAICS is 334519. This acquisition for is for Brand Name items only and is a 100% small business set aside. The Brand Name purchase of products in support of the F-16 Pacer Calibration Modification and will be for two (2) Paroscientific, Inc., Part #: 1602-001 ? Model #6000-23A Digiquartz Intelligent Transmitter; and for six (6) Part #: 1601-001 ? Model #6000 ? 15A Digiquartz Intelligent Transmitter; and for shipping charges FOB Edwards AFB CA 93524. The Brand Name Justification follows: The Paroscientific products are small and specialized with high accuracy capable of calibrating the position error of the Pacer static system. To purchase from another source would mean redesign of the entire data acquisition system at an extremely high cost to the government. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the Brand Name products described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the products. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
