Description

This requirement is for the Lock, Pin, Nut (5310-01-233-8626) and Lock, Pin (5315-01-233-9608) for the M4 Carbine Assault Rifle. These are small close tolerance parts machined from steel, CMPSN 1137 thru 1144, heat treated to Rockwell C38-44 and pho sphate coating applied. The Government intends to award a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. CLINS will be awarded together. FOB Destination. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. Estimated solicitation issu e date is 10 May 2006. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.5051, 5.102 (a) (7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it from https://aais .ria.army.mil/aais/solinfo/index.htm. The Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obta in any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal. This solicitatio n incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who require a copy of the TDP in order to prepare and submit a bid or proposal are instructed to request the TDP by submission of an email request to: tacom-r i-tdp@ria.army.mil. Requests for TDP must contain the following information: CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code and Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided via the U.S. Postal Service after t he solicitation has been released to the internet. A signed Non-disclosure and Non-use agreement must be submitted to the Contract Specialist before the TDP will be released to vendors. The Non-disclosure statement can be obtained by contacting the Contr act Specialist, Kerri Broman at bromank2@ria.army.mil. Notes 1 and 9 apply.
