Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct nine (09 pits at a site located in Rosebud County, Montana. Work includes clearing, grubbing, excavating, embankment construction, and core trenching for the construction of earth dams and pits. Work will also include mobilization, common excavation of approximately 33,604 cubic yards, and semicompaction of approximately 652 cubic yards of embankment. Maps are included in the solicitation for the location of work site. The contractor will have 67 days to complete this project after Notice to Proceed is officially issued. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $25,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and may be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Contractors receiving government contracts must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. It is also recommended that propective contractors complete their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation for this project will be posted at http:/ideasec.nbc.gov ON OR ABOUT May 9, 2006. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of May 22, 2006. Response date for quotes will be on or about June 9, 2006. NO hard copies will be sent out by this office. NAICS code for this project is 237110. Small business size standard is $31.0 million. See Note No. 1.
