Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is requesting qualification proposals from firms interested in operating and maintaining in accordance with current permits, its two State of Maryland permitted sewage treatment package plants and its State of Maryland permitted Non-Transient Non-Community (NTNC) domestic water source. Contracted functions are required to meet all permit requirements, including daily, quarterly, semi-annual, and 5 year sampling, analysis and reporting functions. Contracted work must be performed in strict accordance/compliance with existing permits, with daily physical presence on site at each plant required. Daily physical presence means 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays. Individual performing sampling and recording functions must be properly skilled Class 3 or higher Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certified by the State of Maryland Board of Waterworks and Waste Systems Operators. Interested firms shall submit, in writing, their qualificaions to perform the described services. Qualifications should be sent to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services, 300 Westgate Center Drive, Hadley, MA 01035-9589, Attn: Christopher Murphy, Contracting Officer, not later than close of business May 19, 2006.
