Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for Brand Name Mandatory CALCULEX, Incorporated products. The procurement will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside with a North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code of 423690 (Other Electronic Parts and Equipment) and Small Business Size Standard of 100 employees. The following CALCULEX, Incorporated Brand Name Mandatory equipment is required: 4 each MONSSTR Solid State Recorder With 51GB Memory Canister (orange color) and 4 each 51 Gigabyte Memory Canister Including Shipping Case. The required CALCULEX part numbers are CSR-6201/51 and CSR-6041/51, respectively. CALCULEX is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the required equipment. CALCULEX and authorized distributors of CALCULEX Brand Name equipment should be aware that the Navy intends to release the solicitation, including any subsequent amendments, via the Internet. The solicitation shall be posted on the NAVAIR homepage under the Doing Business section of the website on or around 18 May 2006. The Uniform Resource Locator (world wide web address) for the NAVAIR 2.0 Contracts Webpage is: http://www.navair.navy.mil/index.cfm?fuseaction=doing_business.default. It is the contractor?s responsibility to continuously monitor the web site for the latest information concerning the requirement. IN THE INTEREST OF ACQUISITION STREAMLINING, PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO USE THE INTERNET TO SUBMIT REQUESTS RELATIVE TO THIS SOLICITATION. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NEITHER BE ACCEPTED NOR RETURNED. The Government reserves the right to process this procurement on a Brand Name Mandatory basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
