- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWCDIV Newport intends to issue a small business set aside fixed price solicitation for the following items: 5 sets of Acoustic Windows (one set consists of one port and one starboard window) and 30 ea. Transducer Hull Windows. Drawings will not be exhibited on our website due to restricted drawing distribution statements. Delivery shall be within 90 days from award to Williamsburg, VA. Packaging shall be in accordance with ASTM D3951. To receive a copy, firms must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) managed for Defense Logistics Information Service, Battle Creek, MI as evidenced by a JCP Certification in the Business Identification Number Cross reference System (BINCS). The solicitation will be made available no earlier than 27 April 2006. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
