- The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for the FY07-FY11 Remaining Service Life Plan (RSLP) of CVN 65. The RSLP encompasses all advance planning, design, documentation, engineering, procurement, shipchecks, fabrication, and/or the work necessary to facilitate the continuous maintenance process to prepare and make ready for the alterations, repairs, maintenance and routine work on USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65) including both emergent work and scheduled availabilities. Additionally this effort includes accomplishment of scheduled availabilities, alterations, repairs, maintenance and subsequent testing of the USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65). This requirement will be solicited from Northrop Grumman Newport News, 4101 Washington Ave, Newport News, VA 23607. This requirement will be procured, without full and open competition, from the only qualified source capable of performing RSLP on a large deck nuclear aircraft carrier.
