- The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to negotiate a contract on the basis of Other Than Full and Open Competition IAW 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source. NRL will negotiate with S.A.Ri.Med, Via Isonzo, 32 00198 Roma, ITALIA, Via dei Mille, 44 98057 Milazzo. The contractor shall provide the Research Vessel Universitatis (Italian flag, International Call Sign IZVM, GT 610) for research cruise in the Adriatic Sea from 1 through 25 September 2006. The cruise will allow the recovery of all NRL resources deployed in the Adriatic and the long-term data recorded in these instruments, and the measurement of the evolution of fronts, eddied, and instabilities in coordination with RV Alliance measurements.
