* THIS SOLICITATION NOTICE IS AN UPDATE TO PREVIOUSLY RUN SOLICITATION NOTICE 5FL0270 POSTED ON OCTOBER 17, 2005 AND 5FL0270-A POSTED ON JANUARY 2, 2006. * THIS SOLICITATION SPECIFIES THE DELINEATED AREA OF GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA. The United States Government seeks to lease office space consisting of approximately 4,582 rentable sq. ft in Gainesville, Florida within the following delineated area: North: Intersection of N. W 2nd Ave and US 441 thence east to NW 3rd Ave and NW 1st St, to NW 1st along NW 8th Ave, down NE 1st Street to intersection with NE 2nd Ave east to NE 7th St., thence to intersection of NE 7th and NE 3rd Avenue along NE 3rd Ave to SR331, South: Intersection of SW Depot and US 441 thence east to SW 6th St and 10th Lane, thence south to SE 10th Ave, thence North on SE 4th St. to Bike Path to Intersection with S.E. Williston Rd/SR331, East: S.E. Williston Rd/SR 331 to intersection with NE 3rd Avenue. The space should yield a minimum of 3,984 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space offered is required to be located on 2nd floor or above. Sub-leased space is not acceptable. Six reserved surface parking spaces are required for official vehicles, with the ability to provide 2 additional parking spaces over the lease term. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The Agency cannot be housed with or located near any other law enforcement agencies, i.e. US Customs/INS, Probation, Public Defender, etc. The space offered must be fully sprinklered as must the floors below the space being offered. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building?s ownership.
