Description

This is a Notice of Proposed Contract Action Synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Fighter Attack Systems Wing (FASW), Combat Systems Squadron, intends to award a modification to contract FA8607-04-C-2752 for an additional 160 Panoramic Night Vision Goggle (PNVG) Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) units. Insight Technology, Inc, is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform these efforts. The government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and supported by an approved Justification and Approval. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This Sole Source procurement synopsis is published for informational purposes only to notify potential subcontractors that this action is anticipated to be a modification to an existing contract, awarded on a sole-source basis.
