Description
Proposals are being sought for replacement and installation of 4 separate, large bottomless arch structures located on the Methow Valley Ranger District, Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forest, Okanogan County, near Twisp, Washington. The projects are Lower Black Canyon + Poorman Creek Culverts and Middle Beaver + Lightning Creek Culverts. Two separate contracts are contemplated. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and supplies, including the riprap, aggregate, precast concrete footings, and steel structural plate arch structures, to complete the work. Dewatering and stream diversion work is required. Project shall conform to the requirements as stated in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife and the USDA Forest Service. Other project work requirements include: construction staking, soil erosion and pollution control, clearing and grubbing, excavation, removal and disposal of the old culvert, stream diversion and dewatering, topsoil conservation, placing precast footings, structural bottomless plate arch assembly, rock placement, backfill and finish grade, barbed wire fence construction, and stream simulation rock placement through the new structure. The estimated cost range for each project (two culverts each) is $100,000 to $250,000. 20% bid bond will be required with all offers, with a resulting 100% performance and payment bond required at time of award. Offerors must be certified with the Small Business Administration Certification list. Contract time is 60 days, Jun 24 -Aug 22. The mandatory in-stream work window for these projects is Jul 1-Aug 15.
