- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-08 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2006-03-21. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7382 and the size standard is $10,500,000.00. NAICS is 561621. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (the award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. The 412 TW/ AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential capable of providing service for encase in EMT unit, install horn on hanger door, insure security wiring goes through tamper box that is already installed and remove several motion sensors. REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall perform all tasks required to bring building 1630, both hanger and office space up to requirements: 1630 hanger: encase alarm wiring in EMT conduit; 1630 hanger: install horn at read door of hanger to sound upon opening of door; 1630 hanger: Insure security wiring goes through tamper box that is already installed; 1630 office: remove installed motion sensors; ;1630 office: encase alarm wiring in EMT conduit. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing complete quote including delivery FOB destination Edwards AFB CA 93524. Delivery of first set of units, five pieces, is not to exceed 120 days. Delivery of the final five units will be scheduled within 30 days after receipt of the first set of units and not to exceed 150 days. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
