Description

The 436th Contracting Squadron, Dover AFB, DE intends to award a sole source (Justification attached), Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to MGR Equipment Corp., 22 Gates Avenue, Inwood, NY 11096-1612 for repair/upgrade five C5 refrigerators. This acquisition is sole source because MGR is currently the only supplier of these refrigerators for the Air Force and only they are qualified to maintain/repair them. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 811310 and the size standard is $6.5 million. Contractor will test, evaluate cost of repair, remove and replace those items identified, upgrade refrigerator to use Freon 134A, replace any missing items, retest for serviceability, and ship back to 436 AMXS in accordance with attached Statement of Work. Period of performance is 15 May 2006 thru 30 September 2006. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete quote, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e. Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated award date 9 May 2006. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 5 May 2006, 3:00 pm., Eastern Standard Time.
