Description
This is a request for Sources Sought Market information and a request for review and comment of our Technical Support documentation. This request is NOT for cost information and is NOT indicative of any future Army requirement. Our mission consists of support for U.S. Army Prepositioned Watercraft Readiness located at two Army preposition sites; Kuwait and Yokohama, Japan. Each site includes maintaining Readiness of Landing Craft Utility (LCU), Large Tugs (LT), Small Tugs (ST), Side Loadable Warping Tugs (SLWT), Warping Tug (Modular) (WT), Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM), Barge Derrick (BD), Liquid Cargo Barge (CB), Roll-On/R oll-Off Discharge Facilities (RRDF), Floating Causeway (FC), Causeway Ferry (CF) and Containers of ancillary equipment for watercraft & causeway support. The RRDFs, FC, and CF consist of 150 configured ISOPAKS. Surveillance and maintenance of all vessels includes dry stored vessels and land cradles, wet stored vessels and moorings, and ancillary equipment as required. Containers will require surveillance, repair and recertification. An annual inventory and reconciliation of all Government Property must be conducted. All tasks will be conducted in accordance with applicable Army regulations, technical manuals, American Bureau of shipping requirement, and Coast Guard requirements. An essential mission requirement is the capability to depreserve and make ready for handoff all vessels and support equipment.
