Description

The work consists of removing an existing culvert and installing an open bottom steel structural plate arch culvert suitable for HS-25-44 loading and reconstructing 0.11 miles of Spring Creek Road. Work includes road side brushing, clearing and grubbing work site, removing and replacing fill embankment and placing select borrow material, reinforced pre-engineered precast concrete footings, clean riprap for soil stabilization, slope protection/headwalls, river rock for streambed rock lining, crushed aggregate and rock borrow material for road base course and footing subgrade leveling course from Government-furnished stockpile, applying Government-furnished seed, mulch, relocating utilities, erect bridge marker signs and posts, dewater, construct and maintain stream bypass structure throughout the construction period, furnish and maintain traffic control signs and furnish independent certified laboratory personnel to perform all required testing. . NAICS Code is 237310. Project site is located in Grants Pass Resource Area, Josephine County, Medford District, Oregon. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work is July 1, 2006, and performance time is 60 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: 20%; Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 50%.
