Description

The US Geological Survey iintends to award a sole-source purchase order to the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, Gloucester Point, VA for the services of Dr. Carl Friedrichs for the development of morphodynamic models of South San Francisco Bay, CA for that area's Salt Pond Restoration Project. This is the only known source for these models. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer (rdonez@usgs.gov) no later than the response date shown in this announcement.
