Description

It is the intent of NAVAIR Orlando, Training Systems Divison, Orlando, FL to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source purchase order, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), to Ericsson Federal Inc., 10500 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 400, Columbia, MD 21044-3585, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Ericsson Federal Inc. is a large business. Acquisition Cost of Equipment: $449,270.00. This sole source award is based on Ericsson Federal Inc. being the only source for maintenance for the Marconi equipment brand that possess an understanding of the specific technical nuances of the individual pieces that make up the complex network in the JATTL Laboratory and the way they interact with one another in this set-up. The Ericsson equipment supports the JATTL lab at Joint Forces Command, 112 Lakeview Parkway, Suffolk, VA 23435. Each piece of the network needs to remain functional to continue training exercises in the JATTL Lab.This is an announcement only regarding a sole source acquisition; there is no solicitation available.
