Description
PM TRADE will be holding an Industry Day on 24-25 May, 2006 for Future Army System of Integrated Targets (FASIT) program. This meeting will be held in Orlando, FL at the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Building, 3045 Technology Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826 starting at 9:00 a.m. Responsibility for the New Generation Army Targetry System (NGATS) program [now called Future Army System of Integrated Targets (FASIT)] was transferred within PEO STRI from PM ITTS to PM TRADE as of 1 October 2005. A lot of changes have been made to the documentation and the overall program. PM TRADE is currently in the process of considering a new contract vehicle to be put into place in the next calendar year to procure hardware items under the FASIT umbrella. A general briefing on Wednesday, 24 May from 0900 to 1100 will present the way forward by the LT2 FASIT team follow by a general questions session. Wednesday afternoon and Thursday, 25 May would be available for one-on-one meeting with the Government. These sessions can be directed towards the technical documentation or programmatic issues. The following time slots will be available for industry - 25 minute sessions for programmatic issues and/or 55 minute sessions on technical issues. Please provide a POC for your company and for each person attending the following information: name, phone number, company name, title and email. If you wish to request a time slot for one-on-one session for either a programmatic or a technical meeting (or both) with the Government please indicate that as well. If you have specific or general questions that you would like to discuss during the Government session (either programmatic or technical), please email in advance (NLT 18 May) to ensure the Government could be prepared to address. Industry Day Plan For Future Army System of Integrated Targets (FASIT) Program Industry Day will provide for a general overview session for all offerors followed by one-on-one sessions with the government to discuss the overall program, project documentation (ie Interface Control Documents, Draft Performance Specification). This document outlines the process to accommodate industry inquiries of the FASIT Program. The format will be as follows: Companies will be allowed to submit questions prior to the Industry Day. Companies will have a choice of a 25 minute sessions for programmatic issues and/or 55 minute sessions on technical issues. Scheduling will be coordinated through FASIT Team. Companies will be limited to no more than five participants. Companies will have the choice on the type of method for their one-on-one sessions with the government. The following options will be available: On-Site (face-to-face) in Orlando, FL at the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Building, 3045 Technology Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826 Telephone Conference All questions that are ?generic? or related to the overall program and are deemed to affect all potential offerors by the team will be answered, and posted on the STRIBOM. Those questions deemed specific to a company?s technical approach will be answered to the submitter solely. The Government will not provide any assessment of technical solutions during these one-on-one sessions or submitted questions. The one-on-one sessions will occur afternoon of 24 May and all day 25 May 2006, and will be conducted for a period dependant upon the number of interested offerors.
