Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for a digital flow cytometer that is brand name or equal to the Becton Dickinson LSR II System with customization. The system shall be at least a 4 laser bench top flow cytometer that has octagon and trigon-shaped collection optics, have the ability to classify each cell, have the ability to threshold on multiple parameters simultaneously, have the ability to ratio any signal from any laser, have 48-hour or better guaranteed response time for repair. The difference in the LSR II that is readily available on the market and the custom unit is the strength of the lasers. The readily available LSR II has lasers that are 20mw, 30mw and 18mw. The custom lasers are stronger at 100mw, 30mw and 50mw. VA is interested in proposals that have laser strengths at the custom level.
