Description

Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to install new fire suppression system throughout Hangar 90828, extending existing fire system supply from adjacent Building 90816, constructing a room to house the fire riser and fire suppression system equipment and provide infrared heat to hangar. Transit panels on mezzanine in lean-to area are to be removed and replaced with insulation and metal panels. The work is to be divided into three phases; Phase 1 will include installation of 10? fire waterline, improvements to Southwest side of hangar and construction of fire suppression system equipment room; Phase 2 will include improvements to Southeast side of hangar; and Phase 3 will include improvements to lean-to area. The work will be fully completed in accordance with the contract documents. A site visit will be scheduled approximately 15 days from the solicitation issue date. This acquisition will be issued under full and open competition. Estimated project magnitude for this requirement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. When the solicitation is posted, it can be viewed by going to the FEDBIZOPPS web site, FEDBIZOPPS for Vendors, USAF Offices, Air Forces Special Operations Command-Locations, 16th Contracting Squadron.
