- Description
- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System along with the National Cemetery of Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, and transportation required for Testing Laboratory Services in support of a Government Engineer Supervising major construction Projects. The construction period for the Projects at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System is 365 days for Project 646-500J "Support Service Building" and 180 days for Project 646-500L "Early Infrastructure" located at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, H.J. Heinz Division located in Aspinwall, Pittsburgh, PA 15215 AND 730 days for Project Phase 1 Development of the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA. The timeframes are each project specified plus any time extension granted to the projects. All testing will be performed in accordance with VA Specification Section 01410, and the testing laboratory must meet the accreditation requirements identified in Specification Section 01410. Contractor must be on site at the VAPHS and the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA within eight (8) hours of notification, and test results are due within twenty-four (24) hours after test is completed. This procurement is 100% set-aside for award to a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. NAICS code is 541380. Offers or quotations from other than services Disabled veteran-owned small business concers will not be considered and shall be rejected. SDVOSB must perform at least 51% of the work.. Estimated solicitation issue date is May 12, 2006, and the quotation due date is anticipated to be due on June 1, 2006. Solicitation will identify the actual due date of the quotation.
