- Description
- The 96th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract extension for the continuation of the contractor operation of the Medical Coding/Audior support contract in support of the 96th Medical Support Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL. The period of performance will be 1 May 2006 to 31 July 2006 for a total performance period of three months in the total amount of $225,583.20. The award is to a small business, Smartonix, Inc. of 22685 Three Notch Road, STE C, California, MD 20619-3019, contract number FA2823-05-P-3050. Services under this contract consist of providing the resources necessary to assist program management via retrospective ADS coding and audits, providing initial and periodic coding training for providers, assisting in development of accurate/customized encounter capture forms, and monthly/daily analysis of coding by clinics and provide feedback to professional staff, coordinate and implement data collection tool improvements, and answer coding questions. Statutory authority for this sole source extension is FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(B)(iii). No formal solicitation will result from this announcement.
